📖 The story behind Mindoggo

It started with one dog… and a different way of listening.

Mindoggo was born from a place many dog parents know all too well — confusion, frustration, and a quiet feeling of

“I love my dog, but I don’t fully understand them.”

For years, Julia struggled with her dog, Senga.

Sometimes protective around other dogs.
Sometimes stubborn.
Sometimes reacting in ways that felt unpredictable.

Like many dog parents, Julia tried everything she was told to try.
Training techniques. Advice. Rules. Corrections.

All focused on making Senga behave a certain way,

without ever asking why she was behaving that way.

Until one day, Julia stopped trying to change Senga…

and started trying to understand her.

By exploring emotional patterns and behavioural insights,
a new picture slowly emerged.

Senga wasn’t “difficult”.
She was protective.
And many of her reactions were shaped by how safe, or unsafe,
she felt in certain situations.

When Julia changed her own responses, energy, and guidance,
everything began to shift.

Not overnight.
But gently.
Naturally.

Today, Julia and Senga are aligned.
Not because Senga was “fixed”,
but because she was finally understood.

Mindoggo was created from this experience.

Not to change dogs.
Not to label them.

But to help dog parents understand who their dog truly is,
and how both human and dog can grow together
toward a calmer, more harmonious life.

Because dogs already make enormous efforts
to live in a world designed for humans.

The least we can do…
is take the time to understand them.

Designed with care, not judgment

Mindoggo is not about fixing your dog.
It’s about understanding them.
